Fred Meyer Development, located in a historic area of Eugene, Oregon uses architectural elements from a demolished century old minor league baseball stadium as a part of the design. Connection to the community and efficiency of site program drove the primary elements of the master plan. Wood beams from the stadium grandstands were reused in a community park/amphitheater.
